I actually met my husband through a blind date seven years ago. It was arranged by friends of ours and in an effort to keep them quiet we went along with it...and boy, was I glad we did!!
In fact he was 30 minutes late and then even had the cheek to say he nearly didn't turn up at all! But don't worry he didn't leave me stranded on a Friday night in Manchester on my own, we had each planned to have a few friends there incase it all went wrong! Wise move I think....
